Congo Brazzaville

The Republic of Congo was bright, loud and harsh at times. It’s people were fierce and beautiful. Congo was the first country I worked in with Mercy Ships and I loved every moment of it. I was a ward nurse and ally was an IT geek. Its where we chased elephants in the Congolese Forrests, tapped our feet to soul impressing jazz and where I met patients whose faith and joy will stay with me until I die.
